In order to promote the VPOWER  culture, strengthen the communication among colleagues, and demonstrate the the spirit and unity of VPOWER people, VPOWER successfully held the 2023 “VPOWER Cup” basketball friendly match in Nanshan One Heart Q-PARK Basketball Hall on 16 & 17 September 2023. This is also the first time for VPOWER to organize a large-scale friendly sports event.

Teams from VPOWER companies from Shanghai, Shantou, Shaoguan, and Hong Kong gathered on the field, and showed the spirit of VPOWER, which is the spirit of tenacity, hard work and pursuit of excellence. A number of leaders of VPOWER, including Company Party Secretary & Chairman, Mr. Hu Ke, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee & General Manager, Mr. Wang Wei, the Company Party Committee Members, Mr. Fu Xingen and Mr. Qu Mingwei, and guests attended the event, and cheering for the game.

On the basketball court, every athlete demonstrated their passion and energy, presenting a wonderful showdown to the audience in 2 game days. Audiences  enthusiastcally participated in the game, cheered and applauded, pushing the atmosphere of the game to a climax.

VPOWER Hong Kong team won the "Dare to Fight Award" after two rounds of competition.

The successful holding of this friendly basketball match not only enriches the employees' spare time life, strengthens the cohesion and centripetal force among the team, but also further promotes the "Great VPOWER" corporate culture. In the future, this team spirit and corporate culture will inject a stronger impetus into the sustainable development of VPOWER Company.

The “Happiness-at-work" Logo Presentation Ceremony was held on 21 August 2023, Mr. Li Xiaofeng, Managing Director of VPOWER Hong Kong, attended the ceremony to receive the award.

This program is organized by the Hong Kong Happiness Index Enhancement Fund and implemented by the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong. The aim of this program is to enhance the recognition “Happiness-at-work" among Hong Kong enterprises and organizations, and to promote all sectors to work together to build up a pleasant working environment and enhance the happiness level at work of Hong Kong people.

On 28 July 2023,the Hong Kong College of Technology (HKCT) held the "2023-25 Employer Advisory Board Invitation Ceremony Luncheon", which was attended by Ms. Erica Cheung, Director, and Mr. Charles Wong, Senior Manager of Business Development.

The event was organized under the theme "Connecting with Each Other. Creating Opportunities", we hope to play a coordinating role in the time when the epidemic situation is stable, the social economy is normal, and there is a shortage of talents in various industries, acting as a bridge between job seekers and employers, guiding HKCT students to connect with the needs of society, and at the same time combining the recruitment needs of enterprises with students' development interests, injecting new forces into the workplace and balancing supply and demand in the labor market.

As a member of the HKCT Employers' Advisory Committee, Vpower, which closely follows the development trend of the manpower market, provides a variety of employment opportunities and positions for retrained people in need, mainly in the security and logistics and transportation industries.

  In order to thank the employees for their hard work in the past year, the company held a grand spring banquet in 2023 on February 3. Mr. Wang Wei, the general manager of the group company, and Mr. Li Xiaofeng, the company's managing director, and other company's management, guests and employees attended the party.

   A sumptuous eight-treasure jade food was prepared for the dinner, interspersed with various interesting games, wonderful martial arts and singing performances. At the same time, a commendation and award ceremony was held for outstanding employees in 2022.

On 23rd September, Vpower Finance Security (Hong Kong) Limited held a ceremony to launch its 2nd Operations Office. It will focus on diverting the back-office outsourcing business which undertaken by the company currently and reserving sufficient operational space for future business development; it is also significant for the company to further improve its local logistics network in Hong Kong, enhance operational and distribution efficiency and provide more safe, professional and convenient high-end logistics services to our customers.

23rd September was also the 6th Anniversary of the establishment of Vpower Finance Security (Hong Kong) Limited. After 6 years of rapid development, Vpower (HK) has more than 500 employees and 50 operating vehicles, with 2 operating offices, 1 large document warehouse and 1 integrated office in Hong Kong. Vpower Finance Security (Hong Kong) Limited is one of the few large security companies in HK with a full set of Security Licences at the same time.

Both the Training & Recruitment Center and Jewelry Services Center of VPOWER HK located at Unit 607, Tower A, Hunghom Commercial Centre, No. 39 Ma Tau Wai Road, Kowloon have been officially opened on January 13, 2023.

Establishment of the Training & Recruitment Center will facilitate public provision of the “Basic Guarding Training Course under the Quality Assurance System for the Recognition Scheme” endorsed by the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority and other related security training courses in compliance with security company licensing requirements, as well as broadening the channels for in-house security training, staff recruitment and working skills promotion for VPOWER HK and the security industry.

Establishment of the Jewelry Services Center will further enhance the professionalism of VPOWER HK in diamond & jewelry services via this new distribution center in Hung Hom (a major jewelry business in Hong Kong). It will further improve VPOWER HK's valuable cargo logistics service network, which will be beneficial to our jewelry clients by promoting more secure, economical and efficient jewelry delivery service.

The date of the 24 July reflects that security work is a 24/7 occupation.

On November 9, 2021, our company received a report that criminals broke into the counter of a bank branch. Security Zhang Qiang is not afraid of danger and assists bank staff to report the case. During this period, criminals attempted to forcibly break into the bank counter. Zhang Qiang immediately stepped forward and shouted loudly to stop his behavior. When he was attacked, he did not back down until the police rushed to the scene to subdue the gangster .

The company and customers fully affirmed Zhang Qiang's brave performance in this incident. With good psychological quality and adaptability, he prevented the situation from expanding, handled it properly, and performed on-site security duties.
